2018 Colorado Medieval Festival

The Colorado Medieval Festival will be June 1st, 2nd and 3rd just west of Loveland in The Savage Woods 1750 Savage Road, Loveland, CO. Friday the festival will open at 3pm and close at 8pm. Saturday and Sunday will open at 10am and close at 6:30pm.

Friday, June 1st the festival opens with Loveland’s very own Wendy Woo! The Stubby Shillelaghs are back again this year all 3 days of the festival.

Saturday and Sunday are packed with additional live music, as well as the magical acts of TimFoolery and many graceful belly dancers.

Saturday and Sunday have a full schedule of events. For the 3rd year, the festival is hosting the earliest Highland games of the season for the Rocky Mountain Scottish Athletes. The Scottish Highland Games will be June 2nd and 3rd. All completion scored with the natural wonder, the Devil’s Backbone, as a breathtaking backdrop.

The action keeps on going! Jousting is added into the mix with the arrival of the Order of Epona doing 2 jousting shows each day, Saturday and Sunday of the festival.

But wait, there’s more! Our Live Steel Arena expands with the addition of Ironside Medieval Combat joining the festival with fully armored combat; think King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

2018 brings excellent and tested local food trucks, beer, cider and mead makers along with exceptional artisans for your shopping pleasures.

Regular admission to the festival is $13 per person, $8 for 6 to 12, children 5 and under are free. Parking is FREE. 1750 Savage Road is 2 miles west of Loveland, the 2nd right hand turn off of Glade Road.
